INTERACT is a 8-year programme of research funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) that aims to develop a new way of delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

The INTERACT trial will integrate online CBT materials and input from an accredited CBT therapist, to deliver effective CBT to those who need it. This innovative approach could reduce the amount of therapist time needed to deliver CBT, which should improve availability for patients in primary care and may lead to cost savings.

The INTERACT programme is led by the University of Bristol and is a collaboration with the Universities of Glasgow, York, Hull York Medical School, University College Dublin, and University College London.
